様々な健康問題を抱える患者さんの看護を学ぶなかで、患者さんの生活、価値観などから深い洞察力や共感力が養われます。患者さんの生活に深く関わり、個別性に合わせた看護を提供することにより信頼関係を構築することができます。経験を積むことにより看護の専門性を高め、達成感、やりがいにつながり看護師としての自己成長を感じることができる魅力的な分野です。

研究テーマ

ストレスを抱える人が加齢による循環器疾患など慢性的な疾患に影響する因子に関する研究
ストレスや慢性的な疾患を持つ人を対象とした健康増進に関する研究

研究内容

医療技術の進歩により、多くの慢性疾患と共存しながら生活を送る方が増えています。そのような中で、単に病状の進行を抑えるだけでなく、患者さん自身の主体的な取り組みによって生活の質（QOL）を高め、より活動的な毎日を送ることを目指した研究をしたいと考えています。
ストレスが私たちの健康に与える影響について、多くの研究が進められています。特に、加齢とともに増加する循環器疾患・その他の慢性疾患とストレス要因との関連性は、重要な研究テーマの一つです。早期段階としてのスクリーニングを行う研究、慢性的な疾患をお持ちの方々が、より健康的な生活を送るための健康増進に関する研究について取り組み、再発予防と生活機能の維持・向上に寄与しています。
